The Sugarsmith Candy Shop Return & Refund Policy

At The Sugarsmith Candy Shop, every batch of candy is handmade with care in Marlette, Michigan. Because our treats are perishable and made fresh to order, all candy sales are final to ensure the highest quality and safety for our customers.

Refunds or Replacements

We want you to love every bite! If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing an item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.
Email us at sugarsmithcandy@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A photo of the issue

  • A short description of the problem

Once reviewed, we’ll happily replace the item or issue a refund, depending on the situation.

Melted or Weather-Related Damage

We take great care to pack your candy safely. However, please note that we cannot guarantee against heat-related melting once your order leaves our shop, especially during warm weather. We recommend selecting faster shipping options in summer months for best results.

Cancellations

Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, as long as they haven’t begun production or shipping. After that, we’re already crafting your sweets and can’t accept cancellations.

Wholesale & Bulk Orders

Due to the custom nature of wholesale and large orders, all sales are final unless there is a defect or shipping issue.
